Partnerships and great teamwork that supports learning Every child at Brookfield House comes with unique and often highly complex individual needs.
That's why we provide each one with the care, guidance and support they need to concentrate on learning and enjoying school life to the full.
We've brought together a wide range of professional staff who work collaboratively to provide a comprehensive and integrated service. They have a comprehensive knowledge of each child and work effectively as a team to provide for the needs of each child.
Medical supervision
There's a School Nurse on site who provides medical supervision and medication where appropriate throughout the school day.
Physiotherapy
The Physiotherapy Service works closely with children either in the classroom or in individual treatment sessions.
Speech and language therapy
Speech and Language Therapists work with individuals and groups of pupils to improve and
extend their communication skills. Occupational Therapists provide individual support to
pupils, as required.
High expectations
We have high expectations of pupils and believe that everyone achieves their best when they enjoy learning and feel valued.
Pupils are encouraged to use their voice to express their ideas and opinions to the Student Council enabling them to make a positive contribution to the improvement of school life.
